Module OverviewDigital Designs

Learning Objectives

Each lesson we will cover in ART 2200 aligns with a list of learning goals. These goals are called learning objectives. As your instructor, I will use smaller lesson-level learning objectives to make sure the class is meeting the overall goals of the course, called course-level learning outcomes. You can reference all of the course learning outcomes as well as the learning objectives for each lesson on the course syllabus. Additionally, each assignment will reference objectives that you will be expected to meet through the completion of that specific assignment.

What You Will Do in This Module

In this module, we will create layout designs specifically intended for digital outputs like websites, mobile apps, and social media posts. We will review basic digital design and interactivity options that can be created in InDesign and then expand our knowledge to include advanced techniques. Digital technologies are always changing so we will also discuss resources available for staying on top of these changing ever-changing technologies.

We will work through this module sequentially. I've included a snapshot below of what the module includes so that you can see what we will be covering and begin to budget your time. You can move forward in this module by clicking the Lesson 08 – Interactivity Basics (review) link below or by pressing the NEXT button in the bottom right corner of the page.
