Intro
Kahoot Links to an external site. is one of the most popular educational tools for gamifying assessment using polls, quizzes, and digital whiteboards.
Getting Started

- Create your account or login at Kahoot Links to an external site.
- Once logged in, start by creating a Kahoot or selecting a Kahoot from the library.
Pricing
The free account allows for up to 10 players per Kahoot with access to multi-choice and true/false quizzes. The paid version is $5 per month, per instructor, and includes unlimited players with access to the premium features such as polls.
Integrate, Embed, or Share?
Embedding or sharing a link are a couple of ways to include a Kahoot in your course. Integration is not an option with Kahoot.

Embed the Kahoot: You can embed a Kahoot into a Canvas Page. Watch this video on "Embedding a Kahoot into Canvas" (Links to an external site.)". Note that this video advises you to embed via the HTML editor but you will want to paste the embed code into the "embed" option
in the Rich Content Editor.

Also, if you opt to embed a Kahoot, the free account only allows for up to 30 days of an active Kahoot.

- Share a link: You can share the URL and the game pin for either a live or assigned Kahoot.
