Instructions
The first thing you will need to do for the Career Interview Project is to call a professional in a career you are interested in pursuing. Finding someone to interview is the most difficult part of this project because it requires you to contact people you do not know to schedule an interview.
BE BRAVE! Part of this class is to help you build your communication competence and being able to "cold call" someone for information is part of that process. If you are struggling ask for help, you do not have to do it alone!
For this assignment, once you have found a professional to interview and make an appointment with them for a 30 minute interview (maximum time).

- This person must be a stranger. An interview is a formal situation. It’s impossible to create a formal atmosphere with a friend or relative.
- The interview is to be conducted in person or video chat. A face-to-face interview includes a nonverbal dimension that is important for you to experience.
- Set an appointment for the interview at least 2 weeks in advance. Make sure your interview is scheduled prior to the due date of the Conduct Your Interview assignment.
