Exploration Activity: Fashion & Culture

For this activity please answer the following question after you have attempted the The Jeaning of America reading. 

1. What did you learn about Jeans and American popular culture that surprised you or sparked your interest? 
2. The reading states on page 4, "Jeans were seen as a unique and definitive American garment, possibly America's only contribution to the international fashion industry." Do you agree or disagree? What other fashion garments might you consider part of American fashion and culture?
