We are designed to help your student transfer to a university after completing the first half of their bachelors degree, or to teach your student skills that will lead to meaningful employment after graduation.

All ages. Many interests. Flexible scheduling. With an exceptional range of academic and career-oriented options.
A superb faculty—and a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:20—means our students get personal attention from exceptional academic and vocational professionals.
This is a place where high school graduates can take their first step into higher education and later transfer to a 4-year school, and where students can learn training and skills to take them directly into the workforce. Career professionals sharpen their skills. And anyone can take a class for their own enjoyment.
We strive to become a model for inclusive and transformative education, strengthening the communities we serve through the success of our students.
Salt Lake Community College is located on the Native American shared territory of the Goshute, Navajo, Paiute, Shoshone, and Ute People. We honor the original ancestors of this land and also offer respect to our other tribal communities. We acknowledge this history to cultivate respect for and advocate with our indigenous students and communities still connected to this land.
